Kevin began his Publix career in 1986 as a front service clerk. He worked in various retail positions before being promoted to store manager in 1995. He was promoted to Jacksonville Division district manager in 2003, Atlanta Division regional director in 2009 and his current position in April.

To earn money to buy a car
What do you enjoy most about your new role?
The opportunity to be involved in all aspects of our business, from working with our suppliers, support departments and retail business units to serving our retail operation teams

Finding new ways to motivate and inspire a new generation of Publix associates to have a passion for our company and a desire to keep us successful

Being part of the original management team that opened #412, Savannah, Georgia — our first store outside of Florida

Deli chicken tenders

I like Clive Cussler and Tom Clancy books.

Every action has a reaction, and it’s wise to consider both.

Focusing on the execution of store operations in the present while also participating in long term strategy and planning for our division’s future
How has Publix influenced you?
Most of my influence has come from the great leaders we’ve had at Publix and the fact that we have never lost our identity — our commitment to our associates, premier service and quality products.

Receiving the George W. Jenkins Award in 2000. It was an incredible honor.
