Get ready to go wild for seafood!

What’s a sweet, spicy seafood dish you’ll go wild for? It’s Aprons Mahi-Mahi with Chipotle-Pineapple Sauce! Is your mouth watering yet? Come grab ataste of this delicious dish at the next Aprons special event, Go Wild Seafood Fest March 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

During this special event, customers will be able to pick up a recipe card with two seafood recipes — Mahi-Mahi with Chipotle-Pineapple Sauce and Grilled Tuna with Ginger Teriyaki Sauce.

“Both recipes bring a unique flavor to seafood that everyone can enjoy,” said Business Development Director of Meals Shelly Carroll. “After a taste of Mahi-Mahi with Chipotle-Pineapple Sauce and a look at the recipe card, we hope customers can see how easy it can be to prepare flavorful seafood meals at home.”

Mahi-Mahi with Chipotle-Pineapple Sauce

Total Time: 15 minutes | Makes 4 Servings

  • 4 (5.25-oz) Fresh Mahi-Mahi Select Cuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons pineapple (or apricot) preserves
  • 1 tablespoon chipotle pepper sauce

Steps

  1. Preheat large sauté pan on medium 2–3 minutes. Season fish with salt. Place butter and oil in pan, then add fish; cook 4–5 minutes on each side until 145°F (or opaque and separates easily). Meanwhile, chop chives.
  2. Remove fish from pan. Whisk preserves, pepper sauce, and chives into pan juices until blended; cook 1 minute. Serve sauce over fish.

Aprons advice  Always check fish for bones. Serve these fish recipes over cooked rice or sautéed vegetables.
