We marked a milestone in Publix history on Feb. 22 — our newest high-velocity distribution center opened in McCalla, Alabama.
More than 80 stores are now receiving deliveries from McCalla. It will have the capacity to serve up to 250 stores in the future throughout Alabama and the Florida Panhandle, as well as parts of Georgia and Tennessee.
“My team was so excited to be one of the first stores to accept deliveries from the McCalla distribution center,” said Store Manager Chris Perkins, #598, Madison, Alabama.
