For the third consecutive year, during Publix Serves Day, associates donated their time and talent to their communities.

On April 4, more than 5,500 associates across the six states in which we operate volunteered with more than 150 local nonprofit organizations that focus primarily on the hungry and homeless.

This year, Publix Serves Day was an extension of last year’s Publix Super Markets Charities’ donations to Habitat for Humanity affiliates and Feeding America member food banks. Many Publix associates volunteered to build homes to complement Publix Charities’ generous gifts. Other projects included serving food at shelters, sorting food and clothing items, and community beautification.
