2018 begins with a flurry of new products

If you’ve resolved to try new things in 2018, our stores are the place to start. Enjoy some of our newest items, and don’t miss an opportunity to try some of our limited-time-only offers while you’re at it.

Deli

Our new Smokehouse Selections program is heating up the Publix Deli. The meats are smoked in our deli kitchen’s smokehouse, and our Aprons chefs helped kick it up a notch with four new sauces. Smokehouse Selections are available as single meals, family meals or à la carte in the hot case or at your convenience through Online Easy Ordering (OEO).

  • Step 1: Pick a protein — pulled pork, smoked chicken or ribs
  • Step 2: Make it saucy — Alabama-style white, Carolina-style mustard, sweet and tangy vinegar, or traditional sweet and spicy
  • Step 3: Select your sides — breaded okra, collard greens, corn nuggets, green beans, macaroni & cheese, old-fashioned baked beans, onion rings, seasoned potato wedges, smokehouse baked beans or sweet potato wedges

GreenWise English Muffins are a new product line in the bakery. Available in plain, sourdough and cinnamon raisin, these 5-count muffins are made with no artificial colors or flavors, trans-fat or high fructose corn syrup.

And, we’ve adjusted the ingredients in our 4-count bakery bagels so they are now part of the GreenWise lineup. Look for them in plain, onion, cinnamon raisin, everything, egg, blueberry and a new multigrain flavor.

Put some zest in your new year with the Pazazz apple. If you’re a fan of the Honeycrisp, you’re going to love this variety. Grown in Washington, it’s only available for a few weeks during this time of year. The Pazazz apple’s crisp, sweet flavor, aromatic scent and bright red skin is perfect for snacking, baking or adding to salads.
