PreventionPlus campaign highlights associates as company owners

A new PreventionPlus campaign rolls out to retail associates this month.

This year’s inspiration was drawn from real-life associate safety and shrink stories. With the program guide and the bimonthly computer-based trainings, this campaign features

  • scenario-based videos focused on the preventative actions of the associates when they encounter shrink- or safety-related situations, and the positive outcome of their actions
  • shrink topics like theft prevention, damaged product and inventory management and
  • safety topics like slip, trip and fall prevention, body mechanics and injury prevention.

This campaign is updated annually to help you make the right choice when it comes to safety and shrink.


Going gold

When you bring awareness to the importance of reducing shrink and increasing safety in your store, you can be recognized with the PreventionPlus challenge coin. Assistant store managers will submit nominations monthly to the PreventionPlus support team, which will select the winners.

Periodically, challenge coin recipients are featured in Publix News and in the PreventionPlus monthly newsletter. That means every month is a new opportunity to show your manager why you deserve to win. So, when you do your part, you may be featured in an upcoming publication!
