Approach this year pragmatically — be determined to make positive change, enhance your skill sets and accept new challenges. Do you have an eagerness to live in a new city or state? Are you seeking new opportunities to prove yourself professionally? If your desire for a change of scenery aligns with job openings, submit your application or transfer request and go for it.

You can achieve your goals if you are set up for success. Focus on finding support through a mentor, such as your manager, to help prepare you for continued professional growth. Seek their guidance when making decisions and gain confidence in your choices. Be diligent to make headway in your development, so you can be ready when opportunity knocks.
March
Make strides in various aspects of your life, including your finances. Build a strong foundation for your future by working hard and creating financial goals. Mr. George believed in helping our associates invest for the future. Finish out the first quarter of this year by committing to short- and long-term savings, perhaps by signing up for our 401(k) SMART Plan or increasing your contribution. As Mr. George said: “Begin. The rest is easy.”

Nurturing relationships with co-workers is imperative in supporting your professional progress. Mr. George encouraged respectful, open communication for a harmonious and positive working environment. Celebrate Mr. George Day and our 90th anniversary by serving your community through volunteering and service projects. Mr. George believed giving back was an investment, responsibility and privilege.
