Our founder, Mr. George, believed that for any organization to be successful, it must give back. Ninety years later, we continue that philosophy by investing in the communities we serve, including during the annual ROC. For the past few years, associates attending ROC have engaged in service projects that impact our communities. This year, associates came together to build 405 bicycles as part of Together We Rise, an organization supporting children in foster care. The bikes will be donated to organizations in each division.

On March 31, you can give back too at the first Publix Serves Day of the year. Stores and support locations will partner with organizations focused on the environment. Talk with your manager if you’re interested in participating and remember to log the time spent volunteering by visiting PASSport and searching volunteer hours.

A second Publix Serves Day is scheduled for Sept. 8 with a focus on alleviating hunger during Hunger Action Month.
