Jason began his Publix career in 1991, working as a warehouse associate at our return center in Lakeland, Florida. From there, he has held numerous roles as a selector then management before he started his current role as director of warehousing for the southern region in 2020.

What is the best career advice you’ve received?
Work hard, ask questions, ask for feedback and never underestimate the impact you have on others.

What’s something about you that people may be surprised to learn?
I love to cook and try new recipes, adapting them to my own taste.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?
An architect. I always enjoyed designing an idea and then seeing it come to life.

What is your favorite Publix experience?
I’ve been fortunate to open 3 Publix warehouses and watch them grow from just an idea to fully functioning facilities.

What’s one thing on your bucket list?
Travel to Greece

Take it all in, be patient, and learn as much as you can about the company and who you work with. Since opportunities are right around the corner, prepare yourself for each one.

Work around the house doing home improvement projects
