When you have something great, you want others to experience it too. How do we do that at Publix? It’s through Publix people.

Mr. George talked about how our associates must be skilled and talented. I’ve met so many of you through the years, and I have to say we’re living up to Mr. George’s standards — you are skilled and talented. You treat your customers like royalty, and while our competitors may try to duplicate our processes, they can’t duplicate you.

As only Publix people can do so well, the connections you make with your customers are the difference between someone shopping with us or shopping at a competitor down the street. You are the difference as to whether we’ll continue to be successful or whether we’ll become stagnant. You are the reason Publix has so many raving fans across the country and around the world.
