Tim joined the Publix family in 1978 as a front service clerk at #86 (now #478), Cutler Bay, Florida. He worked as a 2nd assistant manager and produce manager before becoming a store manager in 1996. He was promoted to district manager in 2011 and has been in his current position since 2015.

Bruce Springsteen, 1985, at the Orange Bowl in Miami. It was so good we went back the next night.

Favorite memory of Mr. George?
Meeting him when I was 16 years old. He shook my hand and said, “Son, thank you for taking care of our customers.” He was every bit as gracious as his reputation.

Baseball player

Hawaii or Greece
What is your favorite memory at Publix?
The experience of opening #1129, Miami Lakes, Florida, as the store manager. I’m proud of the successes of that team.
