Mr. George founded this wonderful company called Publix. Through the decades, our leaders have changed, but one thing that’s stayed the same is our approach to business and your efforts to execute Mr. George’s philosophy.

He summed it up nicely when he said, “Simply stated, the philosophy of Publix is to run a better supermarket than our competitors. This was the primary reason why I founded Publix back in 1930.”

Publix people are at the core of this philosophy. We have amazing associates who are committed to doing amazing work every day. Sometimes, we hear about the good ‘ole days. Well, those days began when this unique company started, and we continue to create the good ‘ole days today.

We are One Publix, united as owners, with One Purpose, to be servant leaders. And, because of you, our future is bright!
