Our commitment to the sustainable use of our environmental resources started with Mr. George. For decades, we’ve looked for ways to be responsible citizens in our communities, and that extends to protecting and preserving our environment.

As a company, we continue to focus on our sustainability pillars: water stewardship, plastics and packaging, energy conservation, landfill diversion, and responsible sourcing. And this year, we added a spring register campaign to give you and our customers an opportunity to help support our sustainability efforts. In our stores outside of Florida, donations will go to the Arbor Day Foundation to help with reforestation projects. And in our Florida stores, the donations will support coastal conservation efforts through the National Park Foundation and FORCE BLUE.

Beyond the register, we also hold a spring Publix Serves Week, where our service projects focus on improving the environment. Talk to your manager about volunteering or other ways you can give back. With your help, we can do more good, together.
