Last month, we opened our latest fresh kitchen near Atlanta in Dacula, Georgia. This new facility is over 141,000 square feet with about 400 associates. Our 1st fresh kitchen opened in Lakeland, Florida, in November 2017. In May 2021, we opened our 2nd location, in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Now with 3 locations, we are able to provide fresh kitchen products and services to all Publix stores.

In each fresh kitchen, Publix associates assemble and package customer favorites like grab and go sandwiches, platters and more. This helps our in-store deli teams spend more time preparing items that cannot be produced off-site, assisting customers on the sales floor and providing the legendary premier service our customers expect from us.
