What made you want to work for Publix?
Publix provided a better work environment than my previous job. I particularly admired the company’s excellent customer service.
Why did you become a pharmacist?
When I lived in India, I enjoyed research, and studying medicine was always my strong suit. I love helping people in the medical field.
What do you enjoy most about being a pharmacist?
I look forward to my customer interactions. I get to help inform many people about the medications they use. I’m also always grateful to have a wonderful team. They’re my work family, and they’ve made a huge contribution to my success with Publix.
Who motivates you every day?
My mom is my biggest inspiration. She has always helped the community, and I was fortunate to inherit her work ethic. No matter the situation, my mom always pushed herself to work hard, and that’s enough to keep me going.
What activities do you enjoy outside of Publix?
I love to travel. I just came back from a trip to Norway and Portugal.
