Corporate Compliance Project Manager Marvin Lauchman arrived at Publix almost 2 years ago following a career in the U.S. Air Force, and he has been excelling in his new career path.

Marvin has leveraged his prior experience with the U.S. Air Force in his Publix role as the project manager of 3 corporate compliance programs: aviation, transportation and labeling for Publix-branded products.

In aviation compliance, Marvin works with Publix’s flight department leadership to validate our flight operations and policies.

In transportation compliance, Marvin works with the transportation department to help our truck drivers continue to comply with current legal requirements and confirm that the vehicles they drive are roadworthy.

Most recently, Marvin manages the labeling corporate compliance program. This team is responsible for making sure our Publix-brand product labels comply with legal requirements and Publix policies, such as accurate food allergen disclosures.

Marvin uses his Air Force experience in compliance to help manage risks for Publix.

“I’m fortunate that I was able to establish a career with Publix. It has given me the opportunity to manage different projects,” Marvin said.
