We are dedicated to giving back to our communities — a passion that has been part of Publix’s culture since Mr. George founded the company in 1930.

Feeding America estimates that more than 47 million people in the U.S. are facing hunger. Through our Good Together food donation program and Good Together hunger campaign, we help nourish our communities.

Our Good Together food donation program allows us to donate food from our deli, grocery, meat and produce departments that is no longer salable but safe for consumption. From Feb. 19 to March 2, donations to our Good Together hunger campaign will be used to provide food to local food banks and pantries.

To further our commitment, we’re also hosting our 2nd hunger summit, which will bring together Feeding America partner food banks this month to discuss

As a grocery retailer, helping feed people in need is at the heart of our charitable efforts. I’m proud of our ongoing involvement in the community, and I hope you’ll join Publix and me in continuing Mr. George’s legacy of giving back.
