Eligibility to receive these summaries
Each year, eligible associates can view their Annual Total Rewards Summary and Retirement Benefits Summary and Lifetime Income Disclosure:
- Annual Total Rewards Summary: If you were paid wages in 2024 and were an active associate on March 21, 2025, you received this summary.
- Retirement Benefits Summary and Lifetime Income Disclosure: You received this summary if you
- had a PROFIT Plan account balance as of Dec. 31, 2023, or
- received a PROFIT Plan contribution in 2024.
What is the Annual Total Rewards Summary?
The Annual Total Rewards Summary helps you better understand the value of working at Publix and what makes Publix a great place to work. It’s personalized to each eligible associate and shows the value of what Publix invested for their wages, paid time-off benefits, group insurance, retirement benefits and more. It also highlights other benefits like the discount program and the Life. Inspired. associate well-being program.
What is the Retirement Benefits Summary and Lifetime Income Disclosure?
The Retirement Benefits Summary and Lifetime Income Disclosure is the account statement for your annual PROFIT Plan (employee stock ownership plan). You receive one each year you receive a PROFIT Plan contribution or have a balance in your PROFIT Plan account.

Annual Total Rewards Summary
The Annual Total Rewards Summary is an annual summary that includes the following:
- An overview of your pay, paid time-off benefits, group insurance, retirement benefits and more.
- It also highlights other benefits you have access to, such as the discount program and the Life. Inspired. well-being program for associates.
Retirement Benefits Summary and Lifetime Income Disclosure
The Retirement Benefits Summary is an annual statement that includes the following:
- PROFIT Plan beginning balance, adjustments, Publix contribution, investment earnings/losses, ending balance, eligible wages for the Publix contribution, vesting status and beneficiaries
- 401(k) SMART Plan year-end balance, vesting status and beneficiaries and
- your total year-end retirement program balance.
The Lifetime Income Disclosure is required by the Department of Labor and shows an estimate of how much you could collect each month at retirement.
