Front Service Clerk Tyler White, #1212, Plant City, Florida, is dedicated to serving others and making a positive impact in his community.
With a warm smile and a friendly attitude, Tyler goes beyond helping customers — he builds meaningful connections that brighten their day.
“I love working at Publix because I get to help customers and work with amazing individuals,” said Tyler. “I also appreciate how Publix hires people from all walks of life and offers equal opportunities to everyone.”
In addition to his work at Publix, Tyler is actively involved in his community. He’s an announcer for the Florida Strawberry Festival’s Special Smiles Day. During this event, the festival turns off sound and lights to accommodate those with sensory sensitivity. The day is dedicated to celebrating and serving attendees in a safe, fun and sensory-friendly environment.
As someone on the autism spectrum, Tyler raises awareness about autism. He works closely with organizations like Autism Speaks by DJing and hosting events across Georgia and Florida to promote autism research, support and services.
For Tyler, the most fulfilling part of his community work is empowering others on the autism spectrum.
“I know firsthand how challenging it can be,” he said. “But with hard work and perseverance, we can overcome anything. The work I do in my community not only helps others — it proves that everyone has the power to make a difference.”
