Our Publix truck drivers deliver essential products to our stores. So, it’s vital that our trucks are in good condition. Our fleet maintenance technician team repairs and maintains our trucks, keeping them in peak condition and safe on the roads.
The journey to Publix SuperTech
In 2023, Publix launched SuperTech, a skills competition for our fleet maintenance technicians. To qualify, Publix technicians took a 50-question, timed written exam. The 15 top-scoring technicians across all of our distribution centers advanced to the SuperTech competition, which was held May 7 in Orlando, Florida.
There, technicians competed at 15 stations with hands-on skills challenges and written tests focused on maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting. Technicians were scored on accuracy and speed.
Congratulations to our 2025 Publix SuperTech winners!
