Adam joined Publix in 2015 as a health care attorney. In this role, he practiced law and served in the pharmacy area of the legal department. In 2023, Adam was promoted to his current position, where he develops other attorneys and continues to provide legal guidance to the pharmacy, information systems and compliance departments.

What advice would you give to others?

Practicing law is very fulfilling; I enjoy what I do. I believe finding the thing that gives you the most personal satisfaction is important. Ask yourself, “What are the things you’re drawn toward?” Then harness those interests to help yourself strive for success.

Today’s society places a lot of pressure on younger people to have their life plans set in place immediately, but plans can change at any moment. Don’t be discouraged and take the time to find something that truly motivates you.

What’s your favorite Publix product?

My No. 1 would have to be the GreenWise Lemon Poppyseed Mini Muffins, but I really enjoy the Fresh Fruit Tarts as a close 2nd.

Any hobbies you enjoy?

I like being outdoors a lot. In addition to traveling, I enjoy fishing, hiking and camping. I try to visit as many national parks as possible when I travel.

Where would you like to travel next?

Japan would be my next No. 1 travel spot. It has amazing countryside and beautiful nature spots. The coasts appear to be stunning. Japan is an epicenter for advanced technology, and to see that incorporated into their culture would be out of this world.

If you could spend a day with anyone, who would it be?

I would spend that day with my dad. It would be cool if he could meet my kids and see that I became a lawyer.

What’s your favorite movie?

Crime is my favorite genre of movies. It’s hard not to pick an all-time classic as my No. 1. So my favorite movie is “The Godfather II.”
