Market Force International surveyed 3,600 consumers and found Publix Pharmacies beat out Target and Kroger when it comes to customer satisfaction.
Publix Pharmacies were ranked No. 1 in North America for inviting atmosphere, cleanliness and courteous, friendly staff. Customers also praised Publix for its quality, private-label value and as a source for nutrition and health information.
Fourteen percent of respondents said they use a supermarket pharmacy when filling prescriptions or purchasing over-the-counter medications. More than 40 percent of customers use national or regional pharmacy chains, while 19 percent visit mass retailers.
