Associate Appreciation Visits start this month

Your dedication to serving our customers makes Publix a great place to work and shop. Each year, leaders visit every store and support department to thank you and strengthen our connection across the company.

During their visits, leaders can answer any questions you may have about our company. Your managers will provide more information about your upcoming Associate Appreciation Visit.

This year, we asked some of our leaders why these visits matter to them. This is what they had to say:

Chief Executive Officer Kevin Murphy

“Associate Appreciation Visits began with Mr. George, and I’m proud we continue them today. Because of you and how you serve your customers, Publix continues to be a great place to work and shop. Although our customers may vary depending on our role, we’re each dedicated to providing premier service.”

President John Goff

“Your company leaders appreciate how much you contribute to our great company. Being there, face-to-face, to personally thank you keeps our culture strong. Your hard work, passion and energy make Publix the great company that it is today.”

Vice President of Associate Experience Marcy Benton

“Associate Appreciation Visits are an opportunity to strengthen connections and honor the culture Mr. George built. We personally thank our associates who make Publix what it is while reaffirming that our greatest strength is how we invest in and care for one another. I always leave inspired and proud, hoping associates feel truly appreciated for all they do, grateful for our company, and excited about the future we are building together.”

Director of Industrial Maintenance Brett Wood

“Associate Appreciation Visits help me stay connected to the level of passion for customer service that exists throughout our organization. My support department is several steps removed from the register, but seeing the enthusiasm and Publix spirit when I visit any area along the way keeps me grounded in why we do it with a servant’s heart.”

Director of Retail Pharmacy Operations Erica Phillips

“My favorite time of year is when we have Associate Appreciation Visits. They give me the opportunity to connect with associates I wouldn’t otherwise get to spend time with. Publix people are special in every state, department and role, and these visits keep me grounded in that while also giving me the chance to thank them for the care, pride and ownership they bring every day.”

Miami Division Regional Director Jamie Laviolette

“Associate Appreciation Visits hold special meaning for me, as they provide an opportunity to honor Mr. George’s legacy by personally expressing gratitude to each associate for their contributions to making Publix a great place to work and shop.”

Director of Brand Marketing and Consumer Insights Tessa Anzalone

“Associate Appreciation Visits are an amazing reminder of the diversity of experiences, perspectives and backgrounds that make us uniquely Publix. When I hear the shared passion and purpose of our associates, I’m confident our future is bright.”

Vice President of Manufacturing Doug Harris

“Associate Appreciation Visits give me the opportunity to take time to focus on one thing and one thing only: telling our associates how much Publix and I appreciate all they do each day. As a support leader, it is even more special to meet so many of the wonderful people who make our stores the best. I always return from my visits with great stories, admiration and a high level of inspiration.”
