Every year, professional commercial vehicle techs head up north to compete in the Technology & Maintenance Council’s National Technician Skills Competition (TMCSuperTech). The event is North America’s premier competition for professional commercial vehicle technicians. Michael Castro, Kevin DaCosta and Nate Hinman, 3 of our technicians, traveled to Pittsburgh to represent Publix at this year’s event.
About the championship
Having won at the state, regional or corporate level, national championship competitors demonstrate their skills, knowledge and professionalism during a written exam. They also test their abilities in various hands-on challenges at several stations focused on electronics, diagnostics, vehicle parts and safety components.
