It’s that time of year when our Publix commercials stir the emotions of our customers. I’m sure you have your favorites, too.
You saw our Thanksgiving commercial, and many of you could probably relate. Now, you’re seeing our Christmas commercial, and I’m certain it tugs at your heartstrings.
As you watch these commercials, you’ll see they’re all about families and the relationships we build throughout our lives. We are a family at Publix, too — one who has developed connections with our customers and wants to help give them what they need.
The holidays allow us to develop relationships with new customers that will carry on beyond the holidays if we continue providing them with the service they’re experiencing right now.
You are a part of our customers’ lives. You help them learn more about food. You provide them advice on cooking and meal options. You discuss ways to stay healthy. You help them make memories. And you are their friend.
That all shines through in our commercials, and that’s why I believe they’re so successful — they remind us of why we’re here.
We all need to take this time to make sure our customers, regardless of whom they are, know what they mean to us. It is because of them we have jobs in this wonderful company we own. We have a responsibility to them — and to each other — to live up to the stories we show in our commercials.
Don’t forget to #SprinkleJoy this holiday season.
