Although ice cream has traditionally been a summer treat, manufacturers are doing what it takes to make sure ice cream stays on your dessert list all year.
With seasonal flavors and packaging to match, they’re appealing to the senses through even the coldest months. Winter-inspired flavors like eggnog, cinnamon and peppermint are made in small enough batches to last only a limited time and allow manufacturers to see what their customers like.
Publix Premium Peppermint Stick, Publix Premium Egg Nog and Publix Premium Santa’s White Christmas are some of the seasonal ice cream flavors offered at Publix this winter. Other seasonal flavors like Publix Premium New Orleans Caramel Praline and Publix Premium Black Swamp Raspberry Cheesecake were introduced for a limited time this year and will return to shelves for a limited time again next year.
