Publix has made Fortune magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” list for 17 consecutive years — one of only 13 companies to have made the list every year since its inception in 1998. Publix was ranked No. 75 on this year’s list.

Publix was one of only three companies on the list with more than 100,000 employees. The others were Marriott and Darden Restaurants.

“I am so proud to say we’ve received this recognition from Fortune because it’s a result of how you feel about working here,” said CEO Ed Crenshaw. “I am proud to be Publix, and I’m proud to hear you are, too.”

Fortune bases this ranking on surveys sent to a random sample of associates and Publix’s responses to a culture questionnaire.
