Having the flu is no fun. In fact, it can be deadly. Even healthy people can get very sick from the flu and spread it to others. Your best bet against catching the flu is to get a flu shot. And, as a Publix associate, you can get one for free today!
Now through Nov. 16, you can get a free flu shot from a trained Publix pharmacist. And, family members living in your household can receive a flu shot for $22, an $8 savings off the customer price.
Flu shots are offered at Publix pharmacies on a walk-up basis. For support locations, look for posters announcing the details on when and where flu shot clinics will be held this year.
Here’s what you need to get your free flu shot
Bring proof you work at Publix.
If you work in a store, wear your Publix uniform, or bring your photo ID and most recent pay statement printed from PASSport. If you work in support, bring your work badge.
Complete your vaccine consent form.
If you’re age 18 or older, you should have received a pre-printed vaccine consent form at your work location. If you’re a new associate or if you lose or don’t receive the pre-printed form, you can obtain a vaccine consent form from your Publix Communication Center or your Publix Pharmacy.
