Since 1930, Publix has grown from a single store into a company with more than 1,450 stores, serving tens of millions of customers across the Southeast. While we’ve achieved many accomplishments in that time span that are worth celebrating, they all have one thing in common: They wouldn’t be possible without the efforts of all our associates.

Mr. George often said we’re not only in the grocery business; we’re in the people business. That remains true today because of the care you show our customers, the support you provide one another and the difference you make in your communities. Those qualities are the foundation of every milestone we’ve achieved.

I’m grateful for your hard work, passion and dedication to serve. Because of you, Publix is a great place to shop and work, and I’m excited about all we’ll accomplish together in the year ahead.
