Sustainability has been part of Publix’s culture since the beginning. It was so important to our founder, Mr. George, that it was incorporated into our company’s mission.

Today, we continue to be intolerant of waste and involved as responsible citizens in our communities by focusing on our sustainability pillars: water stewardship, plastics and packaging, energy conservation, landfill diversion, and responsible sourcing.

This month, we’ll hold our annual Good Together environmental campaign. Donations will go to organizations that strive to protect, conserve and restore natural resources within our communities. In addition to our register campaign, we’ll hold our spring Publix Serves Week when volunteer projects will focus on helping the environment. Learn more about the organizations our register campaign will support and how we give back to the environment on Pages 6 and 7.
