When our founder, Mr. George, opened his 1st store in 1930, he knew he would need a team that would be invested in the company’s success.

Mr. George believed when you own something, you take better care of it, so he created an opportunity for his associates to become company owners. This founding philosophy set the tone for the culture and success we’re fortunate to still have today.

This month, we continue to celebrate our culture. We’ll kick off our service award lunches and dinners when we’ll honor more than 24,000 associates for their hard work and dedication.

If you have 5, 10, 15, 20 or even up to 55 years of service, I hope you enjoy this special time dedicated to celebrating you.
