We know every community and customer we serve is different. We also know having associates who are diverse and embrace differences is important to our success.
Mr. George wanted to run a better supermarket than the competition. One of the best ways to do that is to be an inclusive company — one where we embrace the different cultures, ethnicities and thought processes of others in our company. As you know, no one person can do everything. When we come together and share our thoughts and ideas, we deliver so much more than we can on our own.
Being open to differences in thought allows for more expression of ideas. Every person has a different set of experiences, and each perspective gives us something to build off of as ideas grow and evolve.
Listening to others’ perspectives helps us grow as individuals. Embracing differences is important for everyone and our customers will benefit from these efforts. Together we can make our company even better than it is today.
