Feeling confident in yourself is an important part of being successful.
Publix knows that, so that’s why training is a key way we invest in you. When you’re trained, you feel more comfortable talking with your customers. You also know how to deliver the high-quality products our customers expect.
I believe training is one of the most important things we do, along with hiring. For those of you who aren’t new associates, take a moment to remember what it was like when you walked in the door for the first time. What challenges did you face? You have an opportunity to help make sure our new associates don’t face those same challenges.
We continue to make sure we invest the right amount of time in training. We want every associate to feel comfortable in their jobs because we know the pride associates feel in a job well done.
You are the difference between a customer’s decision to come back to shop with us or not. You affect the quality of the products we offer and the service we provide. We want to set you up for success because you make Publix successful.
