Make an impression

Now is the time when new customers are visiting our stores, looking for that something special during the holidays.

We have some big weeks ahead of us with Christmas and New Year’s right around the corner. Let’s use this opportunity to make sure we’re making our customers feel welcome and appreciated, keeping ad items in stock and on our shelves, and suggesting new items to our families, friends and customers.

We impressed our customers with how we handled the 2017 hurricane season — before and after the storms. And now, we have a chance to outperform the competition again. Creating raving fans is what we do well. Let’s continue to put our talents to work during this holiday season, and as we start the new year, by building new relationships and strengthening the ones we have.

Providing premier service is how we get started. If we all remain focused on serving our customers like Mr. George did, our customers will remain loyal to us. We should treat them as we would a guest coming to our homes. It’s an honor to have them come into our Publix home. Let’s treat each moment you share with a customer as though it’s the most important moment of your day — because making sure our customers feel welcome is one of our top priorities.
