As the days of summer start coming to a close, it’s a good time to look at what goals you’ve made for yourself and think about how you can continue to make progress toward accomplishing them.

Many of you spend more time investing in others than you spend investing in yourself. Choosing to improve yourself not only can prepare you for new opportunities, but it also can make a difference in how you feel every day. When new challenges or opportunities come your way, there’s no better feeling than knowing you’ve done what you can to be prepared. As part of your preparation, I hope you’ll use the resources Publix has available to you through our training efforts, as well as tuition and GED certificate reimbursement benefits.

Mr. George always talked about preparing yourself because Publix was a smorgasbord of opportunities up for grabs, and he was right.
