Our store environment is designed to help keep you and your customers safe.
We want our customers to say, “I get a convenient, clean, pleasant and exciting shopping experience.” To accomplish that, the layout of our departments, the processes we use to clean and other efforts are developed with safety in mind. We want to help keep you — our most valuable asset — safe.
And for our customers, it’s about the store’s lighting, the space between merchandising areas, keeping the store hazard free and more. We want a full yet clutter-free environment that puts safety first.
You have a role in making sure you, your co-workers and your customers are safe.
Follow your training. If you have questions, ask your team leader or manager-in-charge. We want to be sure you understand the correct processes and procedures that are set in place to help you be safe.
Be aware of what’s around you. Mr. George said, “Don’t pass it up. Pick it up.” That statement is just as true today as it was then, but it doesn’t end there. Knowing your surroundings will help keep you on the path to safety.
Safety is a team responsibility. Each of us is part of the effort to create and maintain a safe working and shopping experience.
