Service is what we stand for, and convenience is becoming increasingly important to our customers. We are in a perfect position to bring those desires together and meet our customers where they want to shop.
Whether our customers shop within our stores, place their orders ahead of time or use delivery, they expect to have the great Publix experience we’re known for. It takes each of you doing your part every day to make that happen.
As the holidays quickly approach, we’ll see more customers trying to get everything done with limited time. So, what are a few things you can do to help them be the hero of their holiday?
Produce quality products. Whether you’re in our manufacturing facilities or our stores, your products can set the stage for a large family reunion or small gathering. So, prepare recipes as though they were being served on your table.
Have products available. It’s hard for the customer to be the hero if the products they need aren’t on our shelves. Whether you’re selecting products in the warehouse, delivering them to the stores or putting them on the shelves, having products available when our shoppers want them is part of what brings them back.
And most importantly, smile. This is something we have complete control over. A smile and friendly interaction can change the entire day for our customers, co-workers, Instacart shoppers and even ourselves.
The efforts we make while doing our work every day affects our online and in-person customers. Let’s make this holiday season a great one.
