“Begin. The rest is easy.” That’s what Mr. George would say when associates talked with him about how to get started on an idea or improvement.

His quote is a great mindset to have about taking steps to improve yourself and our great company, and contribute to the communities we serve. You just need to take the 1st step.

You can improve yourself and make a difference in many ways:

• Use our Life. Inspired. associate wellness program to find inspiration to help you on your wellness journey.
• Use our education reimbursement program to further your education or earn your GED diploma.
• Take the training courses offered through Learning.
• Learn more about our company by reading Publix News or exploring PASSport.
• Submit your idea to improve our processes or services through Idea Spot.
• Volunteer at a local nonprofit organization or during an upcoming Publix Serves event.

And these are just a few examples. Now that I’ve shared some ideas with you, I hope you’ll take the next step and begin.
