We make Publix better

Todd Jones, CEO & President

Listening to our associates is important. It’s part of our culture and part of our focus on associates being our greatest asset.

The results of our annual Associate Voice Survey (AVS) help us better understand what the environment is like in our work areas. Now is the time when we start looking at those results, working on improvements and seeing how they affect our associates’ feelings and our customers’ shopping experiences.

Making Publix better is everyone’s responsibility, and here’s how you can help.

Always participate. The AVS may be our formal way to share your voice, but it’s not the only way. You can talk with your manager at any time about any number of topics like service, work environment and career growth.

Have an open mind to improve. When you see areas that can be better, find ways to help make the changes.

Serve. When asked to participate on a team, give it your all. When you’re invested, others are invested, and it will make a difference.

Tell us what you think. As the year continues, you may be asked to participate in a mid-year AVS. If you receive one, please let us know if improvements have been made.

I believe in Publix and what we have to offer, from the products we carry to making sure Publix is a great place to work. What really makes the difference is our associates being engaged with their customers and executing on their roles and responsibilities. When we come together to improve our company, we will always be a great place to work.
