Mr. George believed displays should make customers feel moved to purchase the featured product. He knew impactful displays could change shopping behavior. That’s why excelling at merchandising is part of our strategy.
While our stores have planograms for standardized product placement, we must not forget we are merchants — we have the opportunity to be creative throughout the store. Because it can be challenging to come up with new merchandising ideas each week, we created The Showcase — a place to find visual inspiration when planning displays. Since The Showcase launched on Publix Connection March 2, we’ve shared several displays to help managers get their creative juices flowing. Take a look at some of our favorites from around the company.
