Associate bakes up success​

Bakery Manager Julianna Ball, #754, Tampa, Florida, loves serving up tasty treats for customers.  

As a child, Julianna enjoyed stopping by the bakery for a free cookie. When she began her Publix journey in 2019, it felt natural to start where she already had so many happy memories.

She started as a bakery clerk, working her way up to a decorator in 2021 and then to management in 2022.

As bakery manager, Julianna helps set her team up for success by pitching in wherever they need a helping hand and providing premier service to our customers.

“I like working side by side with my team,” said Julianna. “Whether it’s to help pack treats or decorate a cake, I want my associates to know I’m always ready to jump in and be there for them.”

Julianna believes there’s a role in bakery for everyone, from baking bread to decorating cakes or icing cupcakes.

“Whatever you want to accomplish is up to you,” said Julianna. “Stay positive and allow yourself to learn as much as possible to grow your career at Publix.”
