Asset Disposition Program Manager Miranda Bakst, Lakeland, Florida, delivers premier customer service by wearing many hats and focusing on small details.
Miranda tailors her approach to each situation to provide the best possible customer service. Her personalized service and attention to detail have earned praise.
She started her Publix career in 2012 as a front service clerk and gained valuable retail experience she still uses today.
“My retail experience is special to me because in my current role, I find ways to support retail’s needs. I often get emails from people I used to work with,” said Miranda. “It’s a full-circle moment, and it makes me realize that every job at every level impacts Publix’s mission to be the premier quality food retailer in the world.”
In her daily duties, Miranda researches industries to understand supplier capabilities, supports store requirements, and communicates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure everyone gets what they need in a timely manner.
Miranda was recently recognized by the deli retail business unit for going the extra mile to help stores order the correct materials.
“Miranda remembers the small details that can make all the difference,” said Manager of Procurement Strategy and Planning Steve Sheffield. “She goes above and beyond to meet our customers’ needs and motivates others to do the same. That’s why she is a My Publix, My Part difference maker.”
