Customer Service Staff Izaac Marquez, #227, Apopka, Florida, is passionate about the customers he serves, the culture he champions and the people he mentors.

“Izaac is people-oriented, and his positive charisma inspires his co-workers to go above and beyond in their service to customers as well,” said Assistant Store Manager Tresea Parker.

During his 1st week as a customer service staff, a customer came to Izaac with a concern about an order. Izaac listened to the customer, addressed his concern, and made sure the customer felt heard and left happy.

“Every day, I get to positively impact people’s lives, which I love,” Izaac said. “I’ll never forget that 1st concerned customer of mine, because now he always comes into the store to see me. Helping him inspired a passion inside of me to always go above and beyond for every customer.”

Izaac’s passion for helping also extends to his fellow associates. Tresea encouraged him to start mentoring new associates because of his personable approach and committed work ethic.

“I’m also passionate about mentoring associates,” beamed Izaac, “because when we work together to put our customers 1st, they will continue to choose to shop at Publix.”
