Opportunity and commitment fueled Remi Amamboh’s professional growth.

Remi’s desire for a new career led him to Publix in 2021. He began in central fill as a pharmacy specialist and later cross-trained as a pharmacy technician before being promoted to his current position as lead specialist at our Orlando central fill pharmacy.

“Publix is a great place to work because there are opportunities for advancement,” said Remi. “My managers have helped guide me toward a great career path.”

Remi’s hard work, dedication and vision show up in everything that he does.

As a lead specialist, Remi supports daily pharmacy operations. He trains associates, assigns tasks and serves as a link between supervisors and pharmacy specialists. One of his primary responsibilities is to make sure production flows smoothly so prescription medications are shipped to stores in a timely manner. He also helps operate and troubleshoot issues with equipment like prescription-counting robots and auto baggers.

Remi credits the friendly atmosphere among teams, caring work environment and Publix’s support of associate development for his growth. “From the beginning, everyone has been encouraging and willing to assist in any way they can,” Remi said. He added that he considers coming to work at Publix one of the best decisions he’s ever made.
