Full-circle service: Associate’s customer experience fuels her passion

Customer Service Staff Anny Rodriguez, #662, Orlando, Florida, is turning everyday moments into memorable experiences.

Inspired by the way she was treated as a customer, Anny applied to Publix in 2022. She joined the team as a cashier, excited to be part of the culture she admired. In 2023, she became a customer service staff where her passion for helping others truly shines.

“Anny’s enthusiasm creates a positive, energetic atmosphere that makes customers feel valued and special,” said Assistant Store Manager Nancy Fernandez. “Her warmth and dedication have earned her a loyal following, and she has many regular customers.”

One regular customer is an older gentleman who visits the store weekly to buy gift cards for the ride-sharing service he relies on. Since he doesn’t know how to load the funds onto his phone and English is his second language, he appreciates Anny’s patience and support.

“He is always so grateful, and he usually thanks us with chocolate,” shared Anny, “even though we’re just happy to help.”

In the future, she hopes to become a customer service team leader and eventually a customer service manager.

Anny knows that smiling, making eye contact and looking for opportunities to help customers set Publix apart. “My goal is always to listen, and if I can’t help, I find someone who can,” Anny said. Her genuine passion and enthusiasm for providing premier service make her a My Publix, My Part difference maker.
