When Assistant Customer Service Manager Amber Harrison, #1689, Marietta, Georgia, first caught wind of Publix GreenWise Market (PGWM) making the move to Georgia, she was all in.
Having worked in Publix stores over the past 6 years, Amber knew that anything with Publix was her kind of party. This was no different when it came to PGWM.
“I consider myself to be a Publix geek. I’m always searching through social media and Publix News to find out the latest trends and any special news,” said Amber. “I take pride in ownership at Publix and all of the opportunities given to associates.”
And this opportunity was one that Amber just couldn’t pass up.
“With how popular Publix is, I knew customers and associates would love PGWM,” said Amber. “The biggest difference is what the clientele comes to shop for and what role the associates play.”
In her role at PGWM, managing POURS has given Amber the chance to learn more about the grocery business.
“Being attached to a fresh department means that you have to learn not just about the service side of the store, but also about the products and why we sell them,” said Amber.
As a proud company owner, Amber enjoys all the doors that have opened for her and the impact the store has made in the community.
“Our events in the community are so fun and informative for customers and associates alike,” said Amber. “But my favorite aspect of PGWM is the REWARDS program and how you can select a charity to support with proceeds from your purchases.”
