Using the power of Publix products to make a difference

Produce Clerk Brandon Toledo, #588, Miami, practices dynamic selling and uses his love of Publix products to inspire others to try new things.

Brandon started working for Publix in 2014 as a customer service staff. Since then, he has worked in multiple departments, and in 2022, he found his passion working in produce.

“There is no doubt that Publix products are better than our competitors’, and I am passionate about sharing them,” Brandon said. Dynamic selling helps him do exactly that.

To Brandon, dynamic selling means building a personal relationship with customers and connecting experiences to a product. At sampling stations, he gets creative when approaching shoppers.

“One of my favorite memories is when I introduced one of my customers to a cotton candy grape,” said Brandon. “He was looking for a sweet snack, and I suggested a cotton candy grape. His jaw dropped when he discovered that a grape could taste like cotton candy. Now, that customer always stops to say hi, and I always see him with cotton candy grapes in his cart when they are in season.”

Brandon’s assistant store manager, Raciel Denis, can always count on him to achieve goals in produce. “He is always connecting with customers, and he also provides them with information on how to prepare, use or store whatever they are buying,” Raciel said.

With a passion for helping people, Brandon makes shopping a pleasure by knowing our products, asking customers questions, and giving them suggestions and helpful information. His dynamic selling skills make him a My Publix, My Part difference maker.
