Watch live on Facebook, then taste in store.
Publix is partnering with suppliers like Pero Family Farms, Bush’s Beans, Sargento, Swanson and McCormick to bring you its first Facebook Live event called Slow & Low Live Show. Mark your calendar for Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., to see our Aprons chefs make a delicious chili recipe live with ingredients chosen by our fans. Invite family and friends, and help build the recipe by voting on ingredients announced throughout the day.
Online participants can tune in throughout the day and interact with our chefs and special guests, who will showcase and educate viewers about ingredients, cooking techniques and all the services Aprons has to offer. While this is happening online, our meals clerks will be following the chili recipe and making it in real time at all Publix stores with an Aprons kiosk, offering tastings of the final dish the same day.
“This eight-hour event will represent Publix as an innovator and food expert,” said Creative Director Alex Santiago.
“Social media is a natural progression for our brand awareness and engagement with Publix customers, and a Facebook Live event is a new platform we want to test,” added Digital Marketing Manager Heather Winters.
Associates can support the Slow & Low Live Show by visiting facebook.com/publix. Like and share the event with family and friends. Don’t forget to turn on notifications on your phone for the latest developments during the livestream event, and visit your nearest Publix store Oct. 28 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. to try the final product!
