Are you going to school to expand your knowledge or increase your skills for your current position or possibly for other positions at Publix? If so, Publix wants to help you through the tuition reimbursement program.
Over the years, tuition costs have risen dramatically. But Publix’s tuition reimbursement program can provide some relief by reimbursing associates for a portion of their tuition costs in their undergraduate, occupational or technical programs. And, if you’re only taking a class or two, that’s OK too. You may qualify for reimbursement for successfully completing approved individual courses.
First things first
See if you’re eligible to participate in the program. Visit PASSport > Personal > Career & Self Development > Tuition Reimbursement or www.publix.org > Career and Self Development > Tuition Reimbursement for approved areas of study and eligibility requirements. While there, print the appropriate program application. Then, fax your completed application to the tuition reimbursement department at (863) 284-3325. Within a month, you’ll receive an email letting you know if you’ve been accepted.
Now it’s time to get to class
Sign up for your course(s). Once you’ve successfully completed your courses or your semester is over, print the reimbursement request form from PASSport or www.publix.org. Fax the completed form, along with a grade report and receipt showing detailed tuition costs and method(s) of payment like grants, scholarships, student loans, check or credit card to (863) 284-3325.
Pay day is a great day!
Within two to four weeks, your request will be processed, and you’ll see your tuition reimbursements added to your regular pay statement.
