Publix offers many benefits, just for working here. But, how do you recognize something as an associate benefit? The new benefits brand was created to help you recognize all the benefits Publix has to offer.
Brainstorming the brand
After completing a study and reviewing feedback from you, there was no doubt about what needed to happen. You asked for a quick and easy way to identify what information was a Publix benefit — there needed to be a brand for associates to recognize.
To the drawing board
A lot of considerations went into designing the brand — what it should say, how it should look, and what it should make you think and feel. It needed to be fun, vibrant and easily identifiable.
“The benefits we offer draw associates to Publix,” Senior Vice President John Hrabusa said. “But it’s not enough to simply offer great benefits. We want to inspire associates to take advantage of all Publix offers and make positive choices in their lives.”

And then there was Be.
The Be. logo was designed to represent the benefits brand. Sometimes you’ll see the logo by itself, indicating you’re reading about a benefit — like on the Benefits page of PASSport. But sometimes, you’ll see it paired with a word we hope you’ll feel. For example, you may see Be. committed. if you’re enrolling in the 401(k) SMART Plan, Be. passionate. if you’re reading about your fitness goals or Be. happy. if you’re learning about your vacation benefits.
You may have noticed the new logo on the Publix Benefits Brief you received in May. Going forward, you’ll see the Be. logo on Publix News stories, fliers, brochures, websites and anything else communicating Publix’s benefits.
What will you Be. at Publix?
The new Be. logo will direct you to resources that can help you decide what you want to be at Publix and in life. Make sure you look for the Be. logo so you can take advantage of all the benefits Publix offers.
